Accent Modification Services provides accent reduction training to speakers of English as a Second Language (ESL) in the Greater Vancouver area, including Richmond, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, North and West Vancouver, and Surrey. Accent training sessions are based on an initial in-depth speech assessment.  For each client, an individualized accent training program is developed and sessions are tailored to meet each client's specific needs and goals. ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Elizabeth (Liz) MacLeodB.A. Linguistics, M.Sc. Speech-Language Pathology, UBC; RSLP, Certified in Speech-Language Pathology by CASLPA and member BCASLPA;
Senior Instructor Emerita, University of British Columbia

Liz is a Registered Speech-Language Pathologist (Registered Speech Therapist),  Certified in Speech-Language Pathology by the Canadian Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA) and a Certified Accent Modification Trainer with the Compton P-ESL (Pronouncing English as a Second Language) Program. In addition to working in the area of accent reduction, Liz has also worked with clients with communication disorders and taught graduate speech-language pathology students at the University of B.C. (UBC) for many years.  She speaks French and modern Greek, and has studied Spanish some Mandarin and Cantonese.
